Thank you to all the students and parent volunteers who have helped us through our recent car washes.  Based on participation, students have made substantial “dents” in their overall Grad night cost!  A big thank you to everyone!

Just a reminder the 2^nd installment due date is right around the corner! TOMORROW,  October 1, 2013 to be exact!  Please make sure that if you are issuing a check, you make the check payable to “SSF PTSA Grad Night”

Senior Class Officers will also be sending an envelope home with your student when they turn in their 2^nd installment.  Envelopes contain all the necessary forms that need your review and signature for our files.  All forms are due back by Friday, October 4, 2013.

                                  Class of 2014 GRAD NIGHT Car Wash Fundraiser

Dear Class of 2014 and Parents:

One remaining car wash opportunity for you to participate! SSFHS Class of 2014 will have car wash on Saturday, September 28, 2013. Carwash will be held in the SSFHS parking lot between the hours of 10:30am to 2:30pm

·Please sell the Pre Sale Car wash tickets. Minimum donation per ticket is $5.00

·Donation of any amount is greatly appreciated!

·Funds collected the day of the car wash and from pre-sale tickets will be divided amongst the students who volunteered their time, going towards their Grad Night ticket. So please be generous!
Additional note: We are doing fundraisers (general fundraisers for all students:E-waste,Dinner Auction fundraiser, Dec Gift wrap, DVD GradNight/Graduation Ceremony, Tshirts fundraiser etc..)
We will know by next year in May how much we will reimburse partial or full credit to
those students who volunteer their time in the car washes and from all our fundraiser's Revenue.
Also please turn in your installment payment/deposit with all Mandatory forms listed on blog site
to secure your spot on the bus to Disneyland. Installment payments/deposits are all Nonrefundable
and all Nontransferrable. Please plan accordingly. We have over 80 students who signed up already
and Grad Night tickets have been selling fast.

For every Pre sale car wash ticket sold will be entered in drawing for a $25 gift card for I-TUNES, Amazon and Best Buy. I-Pod touch, I-POD speakers and other prizes. We need minimum of 250 Presale tickets sold for the prize qualifications above. We have 406 Seniors, if each student sells at least one ticket we will meet the 250 minimum prize qualification Make sure the student’s name and numbers assigned are on the tickets or else ticket will not be honored. The ticket with name and # is how we keep track of tickets sold to match what money was turned in on our list. Go to Schoolloop under ‘For Students”drop down to Senior 2014 to download the Tickets. The September Presale Car wash tickets are there to download. Click on GradNight 2014 website(Link is on lower right side) on schoolloop to sign up for updates at ssfhs2014.blogspot.com  Flyer information and tickets also can be obtained in the Principal’s office section across from the cubbyholes.

MONIES received for the presale tickets need to be turned in prior to the Car wash in order for us to honor the ticket on the day of the car wash.Please turn in all monies received no later than September 26, 2013

Chips, Cookies, beverages and donations of any amount are also welcome!We do sell snacks/beverages at the car washes and any funds made through these items and any amount donated will go to the general fund.Please send these to pricipal's office by the cubbyhole area and label
that it goes to CLASS OF 2014 CAR WASH.

E-WASTE EVENT AND CAR WASH FUNDRAISER--OPPORTUNITY TO WIN AN IPAD 2!!!

Dear Community,

The South San Francisco High School Students, Class of 2014, is having an E-Waste FREE disposal on September 28^thSaturday. Simultaneously, we are having a Car wash fundraiser at the SSFHS parking lot. The times are from 10:00 am until 2:30 pm. Please save items for this fundraising event slated for September 28. Funds will be going towards bus transportation for our students on Grad Night to keep them safe.
 

Bring in 5 qualified E-waste items** to qualify for the drawing and an opportunity to win an IPAD2!!!

LUCKY SHARES PROGRAM FUNDRAISER

          LUCKYS S.H.A.R.E.S.PROGRAM FUNDRAISER

Each time you swipe the Lucky S.H.A.R.E.S card we earn up to 3% of qualified purchases for our school to go toward our students’ bus fund

Our fundraiser for the Luckys S.H.A.R.E.S Program will go towards securing buses for

our General Grad night fund for all classes. We receive a quarterly check for your support of qualified purchases. Its so easy!! This costs you nothing and you help in ensuring our students will have transportation to their event.

In order for the program to work:

· You MUSTswipe the card before you order is rung up. Otherwise our school will not get the credit.

· Free cards. Stop by the principal’s office section across from the cubbyholes. They are on the office counter.

· You can use the same card at SMART, Savemart, and food maxx stores for our school to earn up to 3% of qualified purchases.

· It Free! and there are no security issues. None of your personal information is needed!

HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT/PERMISSION SLIP

Parent and student MUST sign and return the Hold Harmless Agreement/Permission Slip with the Medical Emergency Information and Registration forms and payment. Registration is not confirmed and graduate will not be able to board the bus unless all documents are completed and turned in.

As a parent of _________________________________, I give my graduating son/daughter permission to attend Grad Night 2014 on Friday, May 30, 2014. I understand that this event has been carefully planned by senior parents and will be chaperoned by SSFHS parents and/or family members. I understand that my registered graduate must be at SSF High School by 11:00pm on May 30, 2014. I also understand that I will be responsible for picking up my graduate at SSFHS by 12Noon on Sunday, June 1, 2014.

Both my graduating senior and I understand that appropriate behavior is expected at all times and that this is a drug and alcohol free event. The Grad Night 2014 Committee or its representatives will expel any graduate who is found with, using, or under the influence of drugs or alcohol at any time during the night’s activities. Local police will be notified. Parents will be called to pick up their son/daughter for violating this trust, regardless of the hour.
